January 1946 Company is founded in Sakuma-cho, Minato-ku, Tokyo, as SHOWA WOOD INDUSTRIES,LTD.(Capital:JPY190,000)
February 1949 Company name is changed to DAIDO KOGYO CO., LTD.
September 1950 Head office is relocated to 1-5 Hanaomotecho, Atsuta-ku, Nagoya.
January 1955 Company merges with DAIKIN SANGYO CO.,LTD. (Post merger capital:JPY4,700,000)
October 1955 Company acquires part of the business and the personnel of RIKEN SHOJI LTD.
November 1955 Head office is relocated to Toyota Building, 1-22-1 Sasashimacho, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya.
April 1957 Paid-in capital is increased to JPY40,000,000.
September 1960 Paid-in capital is increased to JPY80,000,000.
October 1961 Paid-in capital is increased to JPY120,000,000.
February 1963 Head office is relocated to Kogin Building, 1-11-18 Nishiki, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
April 1963 Company merges with TAIYO SHOJI CO.,LTD, a trading company in the same industry. (Post merger capital:JPY155,000,000)
July 1964 Company acquires the business and the personnel of NAGOYA METAL CO.,LTD.
December 1967 Paid-in capital is increased to JPY330,000,000.
November 1968 Paid-in capital is increased to JPY1,000,000,000.
January 1972 A new corporate emblem(DKK) is introduced.
December 1972 DAIDO KOGYO (U.S.A) INC. is established as a subsidiary in Portland, United States of America.
June 1981 Company merges with SPECIALTY STEEL SALES CO.,LTD. (Post merger capital:JPY1,150,000,000)
October 1983 DAIDO KOGYO (U.S.A) INC. is dissolved to make way for future expansion, and replaced by DAIDO STEEL (AMERICA) INC., formed jointly with DAIDO STEEL CO.,LTD.
September 1987 MEDICAL SYSTEM SERVICE AICHI LTD. is established.
December 1992 Tokyo Branch is relocated to Nishi-Shinbashi Mitsui Building, 1-24-14 Nishi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku.
March 1997 Paid-in capital is increased to JPY1,511,500,000.
August 1998 DAIDO KOGYO (THAILAND) CO.,LTD. is established as a subsidiary in Bangkok, Thailand.
April 1999 Tokyo Branch is renamed to Tokyo Headquarters and relocated to Nansa Toranomon Building, 1-7-13 Nishi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku.
November 2000 DAIDO KOGYO (SHANGHAI) CO.,LTD. is established as a subsidiary in Shanghai, P.R. of China.
July 2001 ISO9001:2000 (Quality Management) certification is obtained.
December 2003 DAIDO SHINAGAWA BUILDING is constructed. DKK, the commonly known acronym of the Company, is officially introduced as the abbreviation of the Company name. A new corporate logo is introduced. The Company administration is transfered to Tokyo Headquarters.
December 2003 ISO14001:1996 (Environmental Management) certification is obtained.
April 2004 DAIDO EUROPE GmbH is established as a subsidiary in Frankfurt, Germany.
December 2005 Nagoya Branch is relocated to Urbannet Nagoya Building, 1-1-10 Higashisakura, Higashi-ku.
February 2008 DAIDO KOGYO (SHENZHEN) CO.,LTD. is established as a subsidiary in Shenzhen, P.R. of China.
January 2011 DAIDO KOGYO (SHANGHAI) CO.,LTD. is dissolved to make way fo future expansion, replaced by DAIDO STEEL (SHANGHAI) CO.,LTD., formed jointly with DAIDO STEEL CO.,LTD.
March 2011 DAIDO KOGYO INDIA PVT. LTD. is established as a subsidiary in Gurgaon, India.
October 2012 PT. DAIDO KOGYO INDONESIA is established as a subsidiary in Jakarta, Indonesia.
April 2014 SIAM DKT CO.,LTD. is established as a subsidiary in Bangkok, Thailand.
